Tier 1 - Post Study Work Guide

Introduction |

The Post-Study sub-category of Tier 1 has replaced the International Graduates
Scheme (IGS). Applicants in this category can get two year non-renewable visa
which are expected to transfer to another immigration category after two years.
Please keep in mind that the time spent under the Post Study Work sub-category
does not count towards permanent residence. The English language requirement is
also waived for Post Study Work applicants. |

Maintenance Funds
(Required 10 Points)
If you are applying from outside UK you are required to score 10 points
by proving that you can support yourself and any dependants.

If you are within the UK you only require to show
£800 in Funds plus additional funds for dependants. |
