This sub-category of Canadian business immigration is for successful and
experienced business owners with a large amount of capital to invest in Canada.
To qualify under this category:
- Applicant must demostrate at least 3 years of management experience in a
business enterprise, govenrment or society.
- Applicant must be willing and able to make an minimum investment of $800,000
- Applicant will place $400,000 with Receiver General of Canada for a term of 5
years.
- Applicant need to demostrate the proficiency in English.
- Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) will return invested amount without any
interest in approximately 5 years.
- Submit a viable business plan to establish or acquire a business in Canada.
